Monofilament line, specifically developed by Italian company Tubertini for Surf Casting fishing, but can also be used in other fishing styles.
Tubertini monofilament lines are being individually designed, to meet the needs of the respective fishing techniques and the demands of modern anglers. Differences in line coating, stretch and weight are all taken into consideration during the design stage of monofilament production. The lines are mechanically stretched before spooling to help against accidental breaking, a process that also decreases water absorption. The breaking strain and diameters are calculated using the latest Japanese technologies.
The Tubertini Gorilla Surf Long Cast Monofilament has also undergone ULV external treatment, that allows a faster release from the spool.
