A Macerator Pump is a kind of pump connected to a toilet that grinds up solid waste so that it can be pumped more effectively.

The TMC Macerator Pump is a self-priming impeller pump with stainless steel dual blade rotary cutter inside that grinds and breaks up solids down to small particle size, which minimizes clogging and helps to pump out through the discharge nozzle of the pump.

The Macerator cutter will not handle rags, hard objects, or sanitary towels etc.

The TMC Macerator is designed to pump into holding tanks, or to empty holding, or waste tanks overboard, depending on the macerator pump placement.

Less water is required for flushing if a macerator pump is installed on the input side of the holding tank. The pump can require up to 15 amps of power and cannot run dry.

The pump is designed to have intake with threads for 1-1/2″ (38 mm) pipe connections, or direct connection to a flexible 1-1/2″ hose, and the discharge outlet to be a standard 1″ (25 mm) hose connection.

All hose connections should be airtight to enable highest efficiency.
