The robustly constructed rod holder, is permanently mounted on the side of the boat and offers multiple settings for optimal positioning, with full ratchet style adjustment up/down and side to side. The rod holder angle adjusts from 30 to almost upright.

It is designed with a recess for the rod reel to sit in and equipped with a sliding lock ring, that holds the rod in place and allows quick rod insertion and removal. It can accommodate both spinning and casting reels.
