This new jig by Savage Gear is actually an elongated, slim profile, more elaborate version of the classic 3D Jig Minnow, made especially for Shore Jigging. As its predecessor, its design has been based on the anatomy of a natural sardine and its colors have been imprinted on the metal using photo printed details, making it as realistic as possible.
The objectives of Savage Gear for this jig are very clear. The 3D Slim Jig Minnow is a jig that accurately casts, as far as possible and that reaches the desired depth, as quickly as possible. This is a Savage Gear jig that will not go unnoticed, as it produces strong vibrations and strong rattling sounds. The 3D Slim Jig Minnow is one the very few jigs that is equipped with metallic, micro balls in its interior, for this purpose.
Its elongated, slim body construction, offers one more advantage to the angler. It represents an ample prey for bigger predators and the promise of a fulfilling meal.
It is equipped with very sharp, double assist hooks with iridescent tinsels and it is coated with durable varnish, ideal for Shore Jigging heavy game. The 3D Slim Jig Minnow comes in a color range of either natural hue, mimicking common Mediterranean baitfish, or vivid reaction bait options. It is available in three ideal and very popular sizes (12.5 cm 60 gr / 14 cm 80 gr / 15 cm 100 gr).
The optimal retrieve technique for the 3D Slim Jig Minnow is a medium/slow one, interchanged with a lot of pauses, so that it brings forth all of its potential, while descending with many vibrations, rattling and shimmering towards the bottom. From this point of view, Savage Gear proposes this jig not only for great Shore Jigging game, but also for Vertical Jigging and Cast Jigging.
