Any marine growth on your transducer will negatively affect its performance, reducing the detail on the sonar image you receive. If you had a stereo speaker with something in front of it, absorbing the sound, youd still hear the music but youd lose some of the definition and detail. A transducer works in a similar way.

The kit includes

Abrasive Pad

The abrasive pad prepares the transducer face and housing for the Foulfree transducer coating. Remove fouling or any previous coatings from the transducer housing and face with the abrasive pad provided.

XDclean

XDclean is a transducer safe, pre-treatment cleaner. Having a clean transducer is critical to maximise the performance of Foulfree. The XDclean solution comes pre-packaged with a wipe to make cleaning easy.

XDprime

XDprime is an adhesion promoter for all transducer faces, providing an especially strong bond to plastic. The XDprime solution comes pre-packaging with a wipe to make conditioning easy.

Foulfree clear coat

This kit contains 15ml of Foulfree Clear Coat, a non-toxic topcoat which forms a super slick outer layer that marine growth cannot adhere to, keeping your transducer performing at its peak.

Application Brush

A small, high quality brush is included to provide the best result during the application of the coating.

Foulfree requires a minimum of 8 hours to dry before launching. In colder conditions, 4060F / 5-13C, wait at least 24 hours before launching. Foulfree can sit out of water for extended periods of time in warm or cold climates with no adverse effects.
