It has been designed for both beginners and evolving underwater spearos. It is also suggested for the experienced and highly demanding spear fishing enthusiasts, who hunts along the coastline, caves and reefs. Particular attention has been paid to all those parameters that make up a quality speargun, that is easy-to-use and offers unprecedented ballistic performance. The Meandros Sting Open Speargun overcomes common problems and weaknesses, such as recoil, deformations, buoyancy and offers long-lasting reliability and excellent operation of all its mechanical parts, etc.

It includes the international, top advanced & ergonomic Leader handle (Pacific version), which has a particularly low profile, with a non-slip, anatomic grip, a new loading heel with exceled shooting view.

The Meandros Sting Open Complete Speargun is also equipped with an inverted trigger mechanism, pin roller system, with stainless steel cassette, with synthetic parts, for less weight and high sensitivity. The reversed trigger mechanism extends the loading length by +9.5 cm, and includes an ambidextrous mechanical side line release. It also features a reduced friction guide.

The multi sided tubular barrel of the Meandros Sting Open is made of aluminum alloy with an integrated, V-shaped, hydroplating guide, which delivers stiffness, with a minimum weight of positive buoyancy of +3.73 gr / cm. The thickness of the barrel wall is uneven (1mm – 1.5mm depending on the stress point), unlike competitive circular tubes.

Its base can adopt all the reels that Meandros produces.

It is produced in lengths of 60, 75, 85, 95 cm.
