The Mares Razor Matrix freediving fins combine Carbon and Fiberglass layers for a responsive blade, that is available in either soft, or medium strengths.
The Razor Matrix Blades are made with a new manufacturing process, with pre-impregnated Carbon and Fiberglass layers, eliminating excess epoxy resin, ensuring consistent quality for complete reliability. The fibers cross over each other fewer times, increasing the responsiveness of the blade and the parabolic flex.
The precise shape of the pre-impregnated 3K carbon fibers, which use different weaves at 90o and different blade thickness, depending on the flex point, transform the Mares Matrix Blades into a variable thrust fin. A quick, narrow leg action allows the diver to capitalize fully on the elasticity of the fin tip, especially during extended finning on the surface.
Instead, when ascending through the water, the entire Matrix blade delivers its maximum potential, as the angle of the finning action increases. Matrixs versatility and exceptional performance, both on the surface and at depth, will satisfy the most demanding freedivers and spearfishermen.
The blades and side ribs have variable thickness, that ensures a controlled flex and a 22 blade inclination, relative to the foot pocket for optimal propulsion, efficiency and comfort.
The foot pockets have been designed to accommodate 3mm neoprene socks.
