A new material appeared in the development of the popular Major Craft Jigpara jigs. For the first time jigs are being developed by Tungsten metal. Its density is comparable to that of uranium and gold, and much higher (about 1.7 times) than that of lead. Tungsten’s hardness and high density make it suitable also in military applications in penetrating projectiles.

The use of Tungsten metal in jigs, means that Major Craft has reduced the size of the jig, while maintaining the same weight. This enables us to achieve longer casts, as the wind resistance factor reduces significantly, as is the resistance against currents. Hence the Jigpara TG sinks faster to the strike zone.

Major Craft has added to the TG range of jigs the Live UV colors, resembling real baitfish, adding impressive color combinations to the Jigpara TG range. Based on real fish, with UV elements, the Light Shore Jigging enthusiasts have an extra tool in their hands with outstanding performance during day, or night. They are still fast, strong and lethal, only this time they have UV treatment and appear as a real, small fish. Painting the Jigpara TG Live UV is also a form of art, as a 5-layer, high-strength painting process has been employed, that preserves and maintains the integrity of the colors even after prolonged use.

Sizes from 12 to 32 gr are rigged with an assist hook with tinsels in the front and a treble hook in the rear. Rigging the TG Live jigs with an Assist Hook and a Trable Hook, leaves no room to the prey for an escape, but at the same time increase the chances of having the jig get tangled up in rocks. The live bait-colored jigs, are coated with UV treatment, which is effective when the sunlight is scarce near the bottom. Therefore, be extra careful not to let the TG Live UV approach the bottom. Sizes from 40 gr and above are rigged with Double Assist hooks in the front of the jig, but without tinsels.
