The feeling of natural fish scale is enhanced by the striking colors and their patterns on the material. The intense fluorescent effect in Green, Blue and Red, or UV in some of the models, will make a difference at great depths. Also the main feature used on the Big Eye Metal squid jigs is the large black spot, that exists in all color varieties, making it appear like an “eye”, attracting squid from a long distance. The body glows seductively, and at night when fishing lights are lit, the silhouette of the “Big Eye” stands out clearly.

The Major Craft Big Eye Metal can be used in classic vertical fishing style from the boat, so you can reach great depths by using it as a sinker, in classic squid fishing rigs.

The Major Craft Big Eye Metal squid jigs can also be used with the IKA Metal fishing technique, or with vertical Slow Jigging motions. Ika Metal is a Japanese technique targeting Squid, Cuttlefish and Short Fin Squids. The Ika Metal style has many elements in common with Slow Jigging and requires similar fishing equipment. In the market there are various rods for the Ika Metal technique, which offer great sensitivity and elasticity, so that they can transmit every stimulus from the squid jig, to your palm.

The needles of the Big Eye Metal Squid are chemically treated with fluorine, to increase their penetrating properties, securing the hook and holding squid no matter how lightly are caught.
