It has no hinges, so that you can completely remove the cover. Its opening is easy, since the specially designed thread automatically ejects the cover, once you turn it 60 counter-clockwise and can be sealed with an O-ring that makes the hatch water resistant.

Furthermore, it features non-skid surface and hidden screws for smarter appearance.

These Lalizas standard inspection hatches, are ideal for access to storage compartments on board and perfect for inspecting fuel lines, electrical cables, control cables, battery switches and so on.

They have a low-profile design, with hidden screws (not included) for a smart appearance.

Please note that these hatches have a relatively light surround and should only be fitted into a perfectly flat surface, which is free from flexing otherwise they may not seal properly.

While these hatches are water-tight, they can not be used under or near the waterline and similarly they cannot be used to hold back fluids.
