The Jackson Athlete 60 JT is a lipless lure, which will move in the same realistic way, at all retrieval speeds and it is the ideal lure for the majority of Light Rock Fishing catches on the Mediterranean coastline.
The Mixture Athlete 60 JT is one of the very few, jointed lures on the market for the LRF fishing technique. It is widely known, that jointed lures present a special action, very different from all other known types of lures. Its action comes from the joint, as a result of which it moves strongly from the middle and towards the tail, making its action particularly realistic and provocative to predators, or the dominant fish of the area.
The Jackson Athlete 60 JT is a lipless lure, which will move in the same realistic way, at all retrieval speeds. When we retrieve it slowly, it presents a lazy motion, that of a helpless small fish, giving the impression of an easy target, while if we retrieve it quickly it will produce an intense wobbling movement, which starts from the joint. It is easy to see that this is an artificial bait that will perform to any presentation, and can work efficiently with both slow and fast reels.
A steady retrieval is not the only way to fish the Jackson Mixture Athlete 60 JT. Twitching, or light Jerks, can also be combined during the retrieve, giving to the Athlete 60 JT an irregular, yet natural action.
The Athlete 60 JT is the ideal lure for the majority of Light Rock Fishing catches on the Mediterranean coastline. With intense Twitching, very close to a rocky bottom and at shallow depths, we expect to see a White Seabream, or a Gilt-Head attacking it, while with a slower retrieve, in the same terrain, it will become easy prey for Perch and Scorpions. In the middle layers of the water column, with a steady retrieve it will not go unnoticed by the schools of Saddled Seabream.
