The Deception is a lure-type minnow, that can be used not only for Sea bass and Spanish mackerel, which are popular targets, but also for other Mediterranean fish eaters such as the Barracuda.
The Jackson Deception 135 is equipped with a Vortex Generator, to achieve stable flight posture. The Vortex Generator is installed in the lures lip, to reduce the influence of Air Vortices that occur around the lip during casting and control body shake. A vortex generator (VG) is an aerodynamic device, consisting of a small vane, usually attached to a lifting surface – such as an aircraft wing – but in this case, it is the lures lip. When the body is in motion, relative to the air, the VG creates a vortex which improves the effectiveness of the lip in maintaining the lures aerodynamics.
