The Chinukoro lure by Jackson is a Shrimp-shaped Bonita, which was designed by the Japanese company, mainly for fishing for Japanese Sea Bream (Acanthopagrus Schlegelii) and Yellowfin Sea Bream (Acanthopagrus Latus). These species have similar feeding habits to the White Seabream (Diplodus Sargus) and the Gilt-head (Sparus Aurata) of the Mediterranean.

In general, Vibration Bonitos, due to their action and underwater movement, are a very good choice for fishing for Sea Bream and Gilt-Heads. The vibrations they produce in the water, awakens the predatory instincts of the Gilt Heads and Sea Breams, resulting in them pursuing the lures until they find the opportunity to bite. The Jackson Chinukoro has been designed to have an aerodynamic shape, to achieve really long casts. The compact body and the internal fixed ballast contribute to achieving the optimal casting distance. The Chinukoro cast is stable and precise without being affected even by high wind speeds.

Another feature of the Chinukoro is its ability to avoid entanglements on the bottom, since it has to used close to the bottom. Jackson invested in its innovative design, giving it an extremely hydrodynamic and smooth shape. Even if the Chinukoro comes into contact with a rock, a twitch of the rod is enough to untangle it and continue fishing. Jackson decided to rig the Chinukoro with two independent Assist Hooks, and avoided the use of treble hooks. As the lure is being retrieved, the two Assist Hooks, do not face in the same direction as the obstacles the lure is coming across.

The Jackson Chinukoro are available in two sizes, 8g. and 12g. They are ideal for fishing with LRF presentations, but due to its compact body we can also fish them with Light Spinning sets up to Max 28g Lure Rating.
