Gone Running says -You simply can’t justify the extra cost for training runs, but these little bad boys are great for races where power-to-weight ratios are important. Despite the packaging claims, we find they last maybe 2x longer than alkalines, but at a third lower weight too. Definitely recommended for UTMB and UTMF, as alkalines can really go to pieces under 0C.
