The DUEL eZ Fall is a Slow Sinking squid jig, which means it is ideal for shallow areas, or in cases where the squids are actively hunting in the upper levels of the water column.
The DUEL eZ-Fall is a medium size, but specialized squid jig, with a transparent body, that allows sunlight to pass through. It possesses very specific features, that make it effective to very specific situations in squid fishing.
The DUEL eZ Fall is a Slow Sinking squid jig, which means it is ideal for shallow areas, or in cases where the squids are actively hunting in the upper levels of the water column. Due to its size and low weight, the DUEL eZ Fall, can only be casted when there is no head wind, or it will not cast far.
The eZ Fall displays a horizontal posture during descent, which combined with the slow sinking speed, it can make a difference in the number of catches. The Slow Sinking Horizontal posture, does not make squids wary and is the ideal action when the activity in the area is low. However, it has also been designed to be used from the boat, with a Tataki rig and a sinker, in order to look for squids in the lower levels of the water column. If there are currents in the area and you use a long branch line, the DUEL eZ Fall will suspend and move towards the direction of the currents.
Its main difference with the Yo-Zuri Ultra Omorig squid jigs, are the Patapata feet which create a flapping action. The Patapata feet have multiple effects. First of all, the resistance that the feet generate tighten the line, making it easier to get a bite. They also produce vibrations that attract squids.
The Arrow pointing downwards, which has been imprinted on their body, indicates a Slow Sinking squid jig.
The cloth material produces a flashing effect. All colors include glowing elements and colors NGRH & NRR feature the Neon Flash technology. Colors NGRH, KVUH & NRR feature UV elements.
The Neon Flash technology is a breakthrough as it completely changes the conventional concept of Egis color. It is believed that squids have an excellent ability to distinguish the shades of colors and the amount of light. When an angler thinks of “UV reflection”, he thinks of Keimura (a fluorescent purple color, which emits pale light when exposed to ultraviolet rays) and Glow (which stores the energy of Ultraviolet rays and emits yellow-green light). Fluorescent colors have the property of receiving the energy of ultraviolet light and converting it into visible light and depending on the wavelength of the color, the way it emits light differs from Red, and Green. The Neonflash fluorescent properties of the body make it appealing even in conditions where UV rays are difficult to reach, such as on cloudy days, or in murky tides.
