It has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion Li-Pol battery. Its charging is achieved by using a USB cable through the Micro USB port.

On one end it has a durable ring for keyes and on the back a detachable steel carrying clip for attaching to keys, clothes, carrying bags, pockets, etc.
