They are center balanced to reproduce an attractive motion, while descending to the bottom. They have achieved a balance between dropping in a horizontal position, and sharp retrieves. The Angel Lures Shore Sider have been originally designed for the Slow Jigging technique, but can also cover the needs of Vertical Jigging and Shore Jigging enthusiasts. They have been designed for slow falling ‘like a leaf’ on the drop.
Most strikes take place just before the jig reaches the bottom. The Shore Sider have a hydrodynamic, low-resistance body, that sharply responds to any input from your rod. By alternating the retrieving speed, you can create various strategies, between degrees of being “Static” and “Dynamic”. The hydrodynamic shape of the Head, reduces water resistance and makes it possible to derive the desired action.
One unique characteristic of the Sider jigs is their irregular shape, as one side is half round and the other half comprises of two flat sides intersecting each other.
