The torch is shock resistant from up to 2 meters drop, sealed against dust and waterproof. It has a second-generation mirror and head mechanism for precision focusing without gaps at the lighting points.

The AlpinPro hand held torch is also equipped with a sliding head for focused, or widescreen lighting and an electronic switch for adjusting brightness with Off at any time.
