From the morning bite to the evening cruise and every sandbar in between, Mercury Avator 20e and 35e electric outboards are engineered to empower your perfect day. Their modular batteries give you the flexibility to optimise your propulsion system for wherever your imagination leads you.

The Avator 20e model can accelerate a 12-foot boat at a similar rate as a 5hp four-stroke outboard, while the 35e models acceleration is similar to a 9.9hp four-stroke. The Mercury Avator 7.5e Electric Outboard delivers speed and acceleration performance similar to a 3.5hp internal combustion outboard, making it ideally suited for a variety of small boats, tenders and as secondary power on sailboats.

Available in tiller and remote steer models, they feature a quick-connect battery and intuitive controls that make setup and operation a breeze. And with advanced displays and other technologies that monitor your battery level and range, you can explore the water with confidence.

A Mercury Authorised Dealer will work with you to outfit your boat with the battery capacity you need. You can choose to connect the 20e Tiller model directly to one 2300Wh 48V battery for peak simplicity and portability. Outboards with remote controls and the 35e model require an Avator Power Center and at least two batteries.

The Power Centre allows you to further extend your range and runtime with either outboard model, by connecting up to four batteries. The Power Center is an integrated hub that distributes power from the battery bank throughout the system. It can also simultaneously charge up to four connected batteries from a single charging port. You can charge batteries individually using the integrated charging port on each battery, or charge up to four connected batteries at once using the Power Centers charging port. When charging individually, the 230W charger can recharge a fully depleted 2300Wh battery in approximately 10 hours. The higher-speed 520W charger can cut the charge time by more than 50 percent. Charging can be done from a standard household outlet.

• Corrosion Resistance: Every Avator outboard is engineered with Mercurys proven corrosion-preventive materials and coatings, so you can boat confidently in freshwater or saltwater.
• Easy Storage and Transport: With no fuel and no fumes, an Avator outboard is convenient to store at home or on a larger boat. The quick-connect bracket enhances portability, allowing you to install the tiller model in a snap.
• Quick-Connect Battery: The 1 kWh lithium-ion battery has no cables to connect. It slides into place under the flip-up top cowl, saving you valuable space within the boat. You can bring along an available spare battery that swaps into place in seconds.
• Multi-Purpose Tiller Handle: The Avator tiller was designed to let anyone take the helm with confidence. It adjusts up, down, left or right for comfortable steering from any position or with either hand, and it folds down to become a convenient carrying handle.
• Digital Controls: For console boats, digital remote controls, deliver instant responsiveness, with no hesitation. Controls are available in three styles to fit a range of center- and side-console mounting positions.
• Strong Transverse Flux Motor: Industry-first transverse flux motor technology delivers immediate torque and reliable, efficient power. The motor turns a high-thrust three-blade prop that further optimizes battery life.

The digital display on the tiller model lets you monitor the entire Avator propulsion system and adjust operating settings all from one interface. It uses handy icons to show battery percentage, estimated remaining runtime, speed, power, distance remaining, settings, brightness and throttle direction. If you connect to a depth finder, you can also check the water depth. Most importantly a large, easy to read battery scale is displayed to show you how much state of charge you have remaining.

The Avator Tiller Handle can be adjusted for comfortable driving with either hand and from multiple positions. When you want to set and maintain the throttle at a desired speed, adjust the grip friction knob, to increase friction and keep the throttle grip in place.

Near the transom bracket, there is the co-pilot lever. This can either increase steering friction, if you want to maintain your course without many adjustments, or reduce steering friction when you need to make quick maneuvers when docking.

The Ratcheting Trim system can lock the outboard into five positions, to fully accommodate for any type of boat. One of the most innovative features on the Avator tiller model is the Quick Release Mounting System. The Transom Bracket remains on the boat and you can easily remove the outboard from it. To install the outboard again, simply line up the probe over the Quick Release Receiver and push the drive down until it snaps into place.

To fully protect the Avator engine, against corrosion, Mercury has installed an anode on the underside of the anti-ventilation plate. The Avator three blade propeller is crafted from a high strength, impact resistant, composite material, to maximize thrust for longer battery life, minimal noise and vibration.
