The Madscad 190 has proven a highly effective Wahoo and Tuna trolling bait run long out the back of the spread, the wide swimming action works very well and the action is unlike any other lure you will troll.

Both lures are very easy to work and there are basically two ways They are both Slow Sinking lures and they address any fish, whether it is Saltwater, or Freshwater species. When casting, the Madscad sinks level, and has an erratic swimming action when twitched, producing a pronounced thumping, side to side darting action. You can try a simple and steady retrieve to wind them in which will give a more subtle swimming motion.

If you are targeting Bonitos, Mackerel or Tuna try a faster retrieve and the action will become irregularly natural. Additionally, you can experiment with aggressive Twitches, by letting the Madscad sink, then twitch and pause to let it sink. The latter is actually the recommended retrieve when casting, a couple of quick twitches and then a 2-3 second pause to let the lure slowly sink and wiggle and then twitch it again.
