The Duel EZ-Q Cast squid jigs feature the “Pata Pata Footlight Patent”, the live-like fluttering feet, which improve the performance of the squid jig, in the following ways: the Patapata feet resist the water during retrieve and cause the Egi to raise towards the surface. The Patapata feet make it easy to handle the squid jig, preserves its balance under water. Also, when they meet water resistance they will vibrate and stimulate the hunting instincts of squids as they appear live-like, fluttering feet identical to those of natural shrimps.

A rolling shaft on the head of the jig, gives to the squid jig its natural, flutter and irregular action that a fleeing, small fish would normally do (as is the case with jigging lures). In addition, this shaft protects the fishing line from snapping, as squids tend to spin once they are caught.
