Aiming to enrich the Soare jig series, Shimano developed the Soare Metal Shot TG jigs, for the Light Rock Fishing and Light Shore Jigging fishing styles. As the TG feature suggests, they are made of Tungsten, a material that is close to the relative atomic mass of Lead, but with advantage over the Lead properties, which led Shimano to utilize Tungsten for this jig series.

Tungsten is a harder and more impact-resistant material than lead, hence the Shimano Soare Metal Shot TG is not easily damaged, after potential contacts with rocks and flats.

One of their main features is that they produce very precise casts for their size and their motion in the water (slow fall to the bottom) provokes predators.

The Soare Metal Shot TG are rigged (only the 7 and 10 gr sizes) with powerful Shimano Micro Assists for immediate and secure strikes. Their Assists have been equipped with tinsels and a membrane that produces reflections, to increase the chances of being attacked by nearby predators.
