Yamashita () has redesigned the Egi Sutte to treatthe body with a more attractive and effective finish. Instead of the former plastic body with plastic fluorescenttape, the actual body itself is now phosphorescent and transparent at the same time, meaning that it can be used in clear and murky waters.
Its half skeleton body looks real bait fish. It lets sunlight through, making it more effective than normal glow body, especially during sunset & sunrise.
The eye is now fixed, in order to avoid deterioration after prolonged use.
Egi Sutte R squid jigs () are equipped with Super Fine Hooks. Super Fine Hooks are better than regular hooks because they are sharper and have a wider hooking area.
