The Carmy CM-233 Neoprene Adhesive is a two-component, cold-weld Adhesive for Hypalon Neopren fabrics.

It has been developed for bonding Neoprene-Hypalon inflatable boats and diving suits, with the addition of hardener 8%, that increases bonding strength and heat resistance.

It is also Suitable for bonding leather, EVA, natural rubber soles to leather, or fabric uppers.

Application Instructions:

• Treat the surfaces with sandpaper (P80-100) and thoroughly clean with acetone, or MEK.
• Mix glue with Desmodur RC, or RFE catalyst in a ratio of 8-10% (80-100gr per kilo).
• Apply with a brush a thin coat on the surfaces, to be bonded without touching each other.
• Wait for 4 to 12 hours for the glue to set and then spread another layer on.
• Wait for about 10 minutes for the solvents to evaporate and then join the parts.
• Immediately after, press thoroughly and apply constant pressure for at least 12 hours.

Technical Characteristics

• Yellowing resistant in UV radiation.
• Also Suitable for bonding leather, EVA, natural rubber soles to leather, or fabric uppers.
• Suitable for Hypalon Neopren and rubber accessories.
• No heating is required for its process and curing.
• Dries with the addition of the Desmodur catalyst.
• The curing process is completed within 48 hours.
