The insulation color indicates the wire gauge the terminal should be used on. Red insulation (R) is for 0.5 1.5 mm (15-20 AWG). Blue insulation is for 1.5 to 2.5 mm (13-15 AWG). Yellow insulation is for 4 to 6 mm(10 11AWG).
